to the transition path sampling web site
This page accompanies and supplements the 2002 review article on transition path sampling that appeared in the Advances in
Physcical Chemistry by Christoph Dellago,
Peter Bolhuis , and Phillip Geissler
Here you will find a tutorial, a list of important references and the some useful program files for downloading.
For a short introduction on transition path sampling please see the Chandler Group website.
Recently, Daniele Moroni and Titus van Erp developed the Transition Interface Sampling technique, to study rare events and calculate rate constants more efficiently. This method, based on the TPS technique allows for variable path length.
The newly developed partial path version is even more efficent for
diffusive processes.
